Association of Ukrainian Guides is a voluntary, independent, non-political organization for girls and young women of Ukraine.
Guide movement came to Ukraine in the summer of 1994.
Association of Ukrainian Guides (AUG) was officially registered in November 1996.
AUG became an associate member of the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts in 1999.
The main aim of AUG is assistance in the development of a comprehensive, socially responsible woman's personality and encouragement to her active participation in all spheres of society life.
Now organisation has about 600 members, there are units in 15 districts in 5 regions of the country.
There are following main directions of the organisation work: educational programs, social projects, training courses, camps, international cooperation.
